Credo

CREDO

I believe in the grandiose, I believe
in the capacity to make dreams reality
as the dancing bear forgets his wild
whilst the calls of spring beckons pink bloom.

As I believe in new beginnings,
the conciliation of snow with fresh roses
as white winter grows an ashen dull in temperate forests,
where pine-cones fly to a pleasant death.

Though still as formidable after the fall,
I believe in the innovation of nature
as the year turns over a novel leaf, with
the whispers of yesterday, just a murmur.

In the crispy air of cold the departs
a world ready to say goodbye.
So I believe in the turn of new into old:
the beauty of a repeated surprise
