The Aesthetic Appreciator does: Chanel 2015 Spring Couture

Disclaimer: All images sourced from Style.com (all photographic credit goes to them), but alas the images have been retouched on my scraggly laptop--the runway images were in need of touch-ups in terms of color adjustment and brightness.

Behold my favorite looks from the  Chanel 2015 Spring Couture runway. The collection was oddly reminiscent of the Miss Dior "vision-in-pink" spread, flower-laden and extravagant. Chanel's floral appliqué work is super, though only 5 of their 73 looks are featured below.

Behold the pale-pink beanie, laden with beautiful PVC and vinyl appliqué flowers. Special mention goes to the vest in cotton candy sheer, and the basket-weave detail on the blouse.

Floweret explosion (of chiffon and pvc) on the sleeve for visually-gratifying contract. Not particularly fond of the medium blue dress, but the sleeve detail almost makes that insignificant.

Ah! a full length gown (A-line cut with a jewel neckline). I don't know; I suppose this gown appeals to my geometric fad (coincidentally--this dress also features a subtle fade).

Paster-hued tweed and sculpted buttons--need I say more?

A wonderland of tuile, chiffon, and individually-placed sequins.
