The Aesthetic Appreciator does: Valentino 2015 Spring Couture

Disclaimer: All images sourced from Style.com (all photographic credit goes to them), but alas the images have been retouched on my scraggly laptop--the runway images were in need of touch-ups in terms of color adjustment and brightness.

Behold my favorite looks from the Valentino 2015 Spring Couture runway, inspired by (and bearing heavy nuances of ) Dante's Inferno and Chagall. The collection consisted of about 47 different looks (though a mere five of them are featured here). Here lies a choosy heart, and the musings that go with her.

The Sangria sheer is sleek and altogether beautiful (not to mention my point-faible for the booties). Special mention to conspicuous yet entirely non-overwhelming ruff collar.

Red and silver collar detail, featuring floral cutouts and needle-point embroidery. Reminiscent of the orient if not of Chagall's chaotic workings.

Hand-stitched wonders, in white, gold and silver tones. All hail the bodice of liquefied gold.

A sight of tuile and Van Gogh's daydreams--an A-line vision in Prussian blue. Appreciate the balcony bustier; it fits like a glove!

I have nothing intelligent or discerning to say; I am only in love.
She is a hex of argent lamé clouds.
